Privacy statement

Who we are

JABL is a trade name of JABL Trading, based in Dordrecht, the Netherlands. JABL Trading is the controller for the processing described in this statement.

What data we process

When you email us or book a call: your name, email address, company name, possibly your phone number and what you tell us about your question.

When you hire us: in addition, the data needed for the proposal, the work and invoicing.

When you visit the website: anonymised visitor statistics, without cookies and without data that can identify you.

Why we process it

To answer your question, prepare a proposal and carry out an assignment. The legal basis is your request and the performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

To improve the website based on anonymised statistics. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

To meet legal obligations, such as the tax retention period (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).

How long we keep data

Contact messages that don’t lead to an assignment are kept for up to twelve months.

Data that belongs to our accounts is kept for seven years, as required by Dutch law.

Who we share data with

Only with parties we need to do our work, such as our hosting and email provider. We have agreements with them on security and confidentiality.

We never sell personal data and never share it for third-party marketing.

Analytics

We measure website visits with Plausible Analytics. Plausible sets no cookies, stores no IP addresses and processes data within the EU, so no consent is required.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to restrict and object to processing, and to data portability. Send your request to info@jablworks.com; we respond within four weeks.

If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Security and changes

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data, including encrypted connections and restricted access.

We may update this statement. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
