JABL Restock Alerts

Back-in-stock alerts for one size, at one store.

The problem, as seen in the store

Generic “notify me” buttons ignore size and location. The alert arrives for the wrong size, or for a store the customer can’t reach.

Built for
Retailers with size runs and several locations, especially with limited or fast-moving stock.
Key functionality
  • Subscribe per variant and per location
  • Alerts only when that exact combination is available again
  • One-tap unsubscribe; no marketing opt-in implied

How it works

Three steps, no theme code.

  1. Step 1: Subscribe

On a sold-out size, the customer chooses a store and leaves an email address.

  2. Step 2: Match

The app watches that one variant at that one location, nothing broader.

  3. Step 3: Notify once

When it’s back, one message goes out. Then the subscription ends.

Workflows

Where it shows up in a working day.

  • Size returns to one store

EU 43 arrives at Store 02. Only people waiting for EU 43 at Store 02 hear about it.

  • Demand signal

See which sizes and stores have people waiting, before you reorder.

  • Customer changes mind

One tap removes the alert. Nothing else is subscribed.

Technical and privacy principles

What it touches, and what it leaves alone.

Stores an email address with the requested size and store, only for the alert and with consent.

  • Variants: read
  • Inventory: not used
  • Locations: read
  • Collections: not used
  • Customers: read
  • Minimum data

An email address, a variant and a location. Nothing else is stored.

  • Consent first

An alert is not a newsletter signup, and it’s never treated as one.

  • Deleted after use

The subscription is removed once the alert is sent or cancelled.
